Mitha Rao is the founder and managing attorney of Rao Legal, LLC, an estate planning and business counseling boutique firm with offices in Oak Brook and Chicago. Her clients include individuals, families, attorneys, healthcare providers and businesses, financial executives and entrepreneurs. Mitha serves her clients with compassion, conscientiousness and empathy. She takes pride in building deep relationships with her clients and creates customized strategies to meet their goals and preserve their wealth. She has over a decade of experience as a practicing attorney.
Mitha is a graduate of Duke University (magna cum laude) and the University of Chicago Law School, where she was awarded a Tony Patino Fellowship. She currently serves on the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Young Professionals Board as well as its Strategic Planning & Evaluation and Planned Giving Committees. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics. She is a proud alumna of the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Justice Entrepreneurs Project, an incubator of socially conscious firms.
